A mixed set of results for our Junior Premier League Youth Academy sides at the weekend.

Under 14’s made the short trip to Princes Park and fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat against Dartford in a game which saw both teams pressing forward from the off. Furthermore the game was played in good spirits with lots of hard work and determination from both teams. Emmanuel Obeng-boateng with the only goal for the Ravens.

Under 15’s had an early start as they headed to Buckinghamshire to face AFC Dunstable. The long journey was rewarded with a 2-0 win.

Under 16’s welcomed an undefeated Woking side to Hayes Lane on Saturday. From the kick off, Bromley put their stamp on the game with quick and positive football. After a sustained period of pressure the deadlock was broken when a partially cleared corner was delivered back into the danger area by Bromley captain Ollie Farmer, for Leslie Duru to guide into the net with a well-placed header. Woking responded positively and drew level through Harrison Colleyer’s long range effort. Testament to the evenness of the fixture both teams had opportunities to win the game in the final minutes but it ended 1-1.

Next up this Saturday the Under 14’s face a home game with Dartford, our Under 15’s have no fixture and our Under 16’s host Aldershot Town.
