Vacancy: Bromley FC Academy Office Assistant

The Bromley Football Club Academy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our positive and forward-thinking office staff team.

The Academy proudly delivers a successful post 16-19 education and football programme for both girls and boys with over 300 students and 30 staff on the newly built academy facilities.

**Ideally to start as soon as possible, however we will wait for the right candidate**

**It would be preferable to have school admin experience, however not necessary**

The Academy is seeking an experienced Office Assistant/Receptionist to support the Head of Academy Operations at the Club in the office.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills that allows effective communication with all levels of staff, pupils, league governing bodies contractors and communication with parents on a professional basis.

We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to the students, staff and visitors, with a “can do” attitude.

The post is term time only; 3 days per weeks, 15 hours per week, on a contract until the end of term, plus 3 days during Academy holiday (negotiable).

Roles:

• To be responsible for answering the telephone and greeting visitors
• To provide a professional frontline service
• To word process documents, accurately and neatly, showing good use of document
presentation
• To handle sensitive data carefully in accordance with the Data Protection Act
• To work collaboratively as a member of the Service Admin Team
• To update data on BromCom (training will be provided)
• To support Academy staff team
• To support the Academy Head of Operations

General Requirements

To take part in the Academy performance management system.

Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) or Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Checks and relevant police checks such as continuous records of good conduct.

Strong commitment to furthering equalities in both service delivery and employment practice.

Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young and vulnerable people that you are responsible for or come into contact with.

The position is subject to a suitable application and reference process.
