Bromley Football Club’s Academy kick off their National League campaign today with our U19s travelling away to Eastleigh.
U19s:
The young Ravens will be the first team to make the journey to Eastleigh, with the Hampshire club being new additions to the NLFA South prior to the 2020/21 season. The squad, coached by Jamel Wojtczak and Steve Aris, have had real success during their pre-season with stand out results being the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace U18s and beating Millwall 3-1 at Hayes Lane.
Unfortunately for Bromley the new side to the League were in top form on the day. The Spitfires but in a good performance to beat the Ravens 5-1 on home turf.
U17s:
Our 1st Year squad took to the Stadium pitch on the morning, as they played host to Welling United in an all South London clash. The newly assembled squad has been coached through pre-season by Tony Browne and Tom Beaumont and the added incentive of a derby day win at stake no doubt brought a further edge to the game.

The 1st Year squad ran out 2-1 winners on the day, making it the perfect start to the season. And you can see their goals below!
Girls Academy:
Also on their travels on Wednesday was our Girls Academy, who faced a lengthy trip to the south coast to take on Bournemouth. In the dugout on the afternoon was Max Smith, Matt Griffiths and Mia Lockett with the squad looking to put into practice lessons learned from last week’s match with Chelsea.

Going up against strong opposition the Girls squad lost 5-1. However, positive performances from Summer, Adenya and Skye we highlighted by the coaching team!
